Mother’s Day Shadow Box Cards
April 29, 2008 — WendyI’ve been trying to come up with a shadow box card to teach at my classes tonight and tomorrow. I had a request after I posted my mother’s birthday card earlier this month. They’re fun to do and not too complicated although I tend to complicate them more than they should be. Here’s the one we’ll be doing in class. There’s several techniques that we haven’t done before. One step at a time, it should be easy.
It’s not that Groovy Guava is my favorite color, although I do like it. It’s just that I have only a few months left to use it up before it retires!
Stamps: Touch of Nature, En Francais, All Holidays, Floral Background
Paper: Confetti White, Chocolate Chip, Groovy Guava
Ink: Stazon Black, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Groovy Guava, More Mustard, So Saffron,
Accessories: Groovy Guava Double Stitched ribbon, Aqua Painter, Dimensionals, Stamp-a-ma-jig, oval cutters by creative memories,
