Little Bit of Happiness Valentine
February 7, 2008 — WendyHappy Thursday to you all! What a beautiful day it is here in Virginia. Sure don’t miss the heat of Arizona! Pam, I’m ignoring your tag for the moment but thanks for thinking of me. I have a nice short middle name!
I went out on a limb last night and just started putting things together (usually things don’t turn out very well when I do that!). I wanted to try that adorable pocket card in the SAB catalog on page 7 to see how it went together. It’s much smaller than I thought! I, probably like most of you, get stuck in a rut on colors combos. Both of the projects I’ll show today are NOT my usual color combos.
Recipe: Stamp Set: Little Bit of Happiness, Short & Sweet; CS: Whisper White, Watercolor Paper, Almost Amethyst DP, Pretty in Pink, Real Red (small heart at bottom); Ink: Real Red, Almost Amethyst, Pretty in Pink, Basic Black, Stazon Black; Accessories: Crop-a-dile, silver eyelets, Slit punch, Word Window punch, Horizontal Slot punch, White grosgrain, Aqua Painter, Almost Amethyst Marker,
I got the Happy Heart Day set back in January and had not yet used it. I hate it when I do that–buy a set thinking it’ll use it and then don’t! And this one little project certainly does’t justify buying it! This needs something else but I can’t decide what!
Recipe: Stamp Set: Happy Heart Day; CS: Certainly Celery, Blue Bayou, Whisper White, Certainly Celery DP, Real Red; Ink: Going Gray, Blue Bayou, Certainly Celery; Accessories: Aqua painter, lg oval punch, white gel pen, dimensionals, red gingham ribbon, 3/4″ circle punch, 1/8″ circle punch,

I love these cards! I really like the little pocket card. Is there a template, or did you just wing it? Cute Valentines!
